Free Scrap Metal Collection & Pickup

For clients who cannot transport scrap to our Tottenham yard, or who prefer the convenience of on-site collection, Manhari provides free scrap metal pickup from your property. Our fleet includes tray trucks, semi-trucks, hook trucks, crane trucks, and Freightliners — giving us the capability to handle everything from a ute-load of copper pipe to a full factory floor of structural steel.

Residential pickup

Homeowners clearing garages, sheds, or completing renovations can book a free collection for steel, copper, aluminium, and other metals. Call 1300 397 678 for a quick over-the-phone estimate and to book a collection time.

Commercial and trade pickup

Plumbers, electricians, builders, HVAC contractors and automotive workshops generating regular copper, aluminium, brass and steel scrap can set up recurring collection schedules. Manhari services all Melbourne suburbs and major regional centres including Shepparton, Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong and Latrobe Valley.

Industrial and high-volume pickup

For loads exceeding one tonne, dedicated truck dispatch is arranged with priority scheduling. Crane trucks are available for heavy structural steel and plant equipment. Call 1300 397 678 to arrange a site assessment for large industrial loads.

Factory Cleanups and Industrial Site Clearances

One of Manhari's most valued services for the commercial and industrial sector. When a factory is closing, relocating, or undergoing a major plant upgrade, Manhari's industrial team mobilises to assess, remove and process all scrap metal on site — with minimal disruption to your timeline.

Our factory cleanup service covers: machinery frames and plant equipment, structural steel and fitout materials, electrical infrastructure including copper cabling and switchgear, aluminium fabrications and sheet metal, stainless steel from food processing or medical equipment, and all other ferrous and non-ferrous metals on site.

In many factory clearances, the scrap metal recovered offsets a significant portion — and in some cases all — of the cleanup and removal costs.

Scrap Metal Sales — Domestic

For smaller loads or individuals who prefer to bring their scrap directly to us, Manhari's Tottenham yard is open for public drop-offs Monday to Friday 7am–5pm and Saturday 7am–12pm. No appointment required for standard loads. All metals are weighed on our certified weighbridge and payment is processed by bank transfer or EFT. Valid photo ID is required under Victorian Second-Hand Dealer legislation.

We accept all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous metals at the yard. Pre-sorted loads attract better pricing than mixed loads. Our yard staff will guide you through the drop-off and payment process on the day.
